Prorated PTO for Part-Time Nurses
You are not required to take more PTO than you can accumulate
"CNA-represented employees at ABSMC who are less than full time have two options when they take PTO—they can either receive a prorated number of PTO hours for a PTO day based on their FTE (e.g., a 0.5 FTE 8-hour nurse could use 4 hours of PTO), or they can receive whatever number of hours of PTO they were scheduled to work the day they took PTO. It’s the employee’s choice which option to select. PTO is deducted in increments of .25 hours. The employee is responsible for either entering the correct amount into Kronos or documenting it on an Exception Form." - Sutter Lawyer
