How to Figure Your Pay Rate

5.5.1 Shift Differentials.
Regular, Short-hour and Casual Nurses who commence a shift of four (4) hours or more at or after 12:00 noon and prior
to 6:00 AM and terminating after 6:00 PM shall be paid a shift differential; if half or more of the hours are
scheduled to be worked after 11 PM, the shift is defined as a night shift.

Regular, Short-hour and Casual Nurses assigned to evening shift work shall receive an
additional 11.5% of the first year rate of the Staff Nurse II day salary.
Those assigned to night shift work shall receive an additional twenty percent (20%)
of the first year rate of the StaffNurse II day salary,

except that Casual and Short-hour Nurses assigned to night shift work shall receive an
additional twenty percent (20%) of the first year rate of the Staff Nurse II-Casual and Short-hour day salary.

Wage Relationship/Other ​Differentials ​​
​The relationship of wage ranges from one classification to another are reflected in the wage grids below.
You will still need to add shift diffs, specialty cerfication (2%) to your base step in any apply


Interim Permittee: 90% of Staff Nurse I
Staff Nurse I: 3.55% below StaffNurse II
Staff Nurse III: 5% above Staff Nurse II
Certified Staff Nurse III (specialty certified): 7% above Staff Nurse II
Staff Nurse IV (specialty certification required): 12% above Staff Nurse II
Charge Nurse I: 9% above Staff Nurse II
Charge Nurse II: 12% above Staff Nurse II


A Staff Nurse I shall receive the appropriate Staff Nurse I salary for the first six months
of employment and will move automatically to the first step for Staff Nurse II upon the completion
of six months of employment. Upon the completion of one ( 1) year of employment,
the Nurse will move to the second step for the Staff Nurse II and will thereafter continue
to advance each year through the remaining steps.

 2%: 40 months after ratification-7/12/2026
 3.5%: 44 months after ratification-11/15/2026
 3.5%: 50 months after ratification-5/16/2027




Future across-the-board increases to salary range will be effective the start of payroll period that commences after the specified date as follows or the ratification of this Agreement whichever occurs later
